As operation rates are further lower in coastal China this week (Apr 17-23), rapeseed crush in 101 domestic mills surveyed by Cofeed is 39,000 tonnes, down 6,000 tonnes or 13.3% from 45,000 tonnes last week. Of it, imported rapeseed is 39,000 tonnes (meal 21,450 tonnes and oil 16,770 tonnes). Meanwhile, the operation rate (capability utilization) goes down to 7.78% from 8.98% last week, of which it is 0% for domestic rapeseed; and it goes to 18.89% from 21.79% last week for imported rapeseed in coastal regions. Rapeseed crush is expected to pick up to 45,000 tonnes and 45,000 tonnes in the next two weeks, respectively.
