I. Rapeseed: stocks and port arrivals

This week (ending Apr 23), China’s rapeseed inventory totals 357,000 tonnes in coastal areas, up 87,000 tonnes or 32.2% from 270,000 tonnes last week and up 87.89% from 190,000 tonnes of the corresponding period last year. Among them, stock in Guangxi, Guangdong and Fujian is 357,000 tonnes in coastal areas, up 87,000 tonnes or 32.2% from 270,000 tonnes last week but up 123.13% from 160,000 tonnes of the same week in the previous year. Rapeseed imports will include 239,000 tonnes and 180,000 tonnes from Canada in April and May respectively, according to data by Cofeed. Currently, only several private-owned and foreign-funded oil mills are making imports, and Chinese companies will make bulk imports only in the wake of a thaw between China and Canada.

II. Rapeseed oil stocks

This week (ending Apr 23), rapeseed oil stocks are 244,950 tonnes in domestic coastal regions, up 16,000 tonnes or 6.99% from 228,950 tonnes last week and up 28.92% from 190,000 tonnes a year earlier. More details for stocks:

III. Rapeseed meal stocks

This week (ending Apr 23), rapeseed meal stock has totaled 81,200 tonnes in domestic coastal regions, down 7,300 tonnes or 8.25% from 88,500 tonnes last week and up 269.10% from 22,000 tonnes a year earlier. More details for stocks:
