According to Cofeed, on the week as of Apr 23, details of soybean stocks and soybean meal stocks and outstanding contracts in coastal regions are as follows:
Soybean: Soybean stocks keep reducing this week as soybean crush further picks up to 1.77 mln tonnes. In the week as of Apr 23, China’s imported soybean stocks in coastal regions total 3,543,900 tonnes, down 187,000 tonnes by 5.01% from 3,730,900 tonnes last week and up by 48.78% from 2,381,900 tonnes from a year earlier.

Soybean meal: Soybean meal stocks are little changed this week as quicker delivery ahead of the Labour Day holidays offsets the rise in soybean crush. In the week as of Apr 23, China’s soybean meal stocks in coastal regions are 649,000 tonnes, up 200 tonnes by 0.03% from 648,800 tonnes last week and also up 376.85% from 136,100 tonnes from a year earlier.

Outstanding contracts: The amount of soybean meal in outstanding contracts further decreases this week. In the week as of Apr 23, outstanding contracts in mills in domestic coastal regions hold 4,134,500 tonnes not delivered, down 264,100 tonnes by 6.00% from 4,398,600 tonnes last week and up 21.06% from 3,415,100 tonnes year over year.
